Llama Song!

The Llama Song is a repeating flash song that has random words in between llama, is rhyming and ends with "llama llama duck." Here are the lyrics:

here's a llama
there's a llama
and another little llama
fuzzy llama
funny llama
llama llama
duck

llama llama
cheesecake
llama
tablet
brick
potato
llama
llama llama
mushroom
llama
llama llama
duck

i was once a treehouse
i lived in a cake
but i never saw the way
the orange slayed the rake
i was only three years dead
but it told a tale
and now listen, little child
to the safety rail

did you ever see a llama
kiss a llama
on the llama
llama's llama
tastes of llama
llama llama
duck

half a llama
twice the llama
not a llama
farmer
llama
llama in a car
alarm a llama
llama
duck

is that how it's told now?
is it all so old?
is it made of lemon juice?
doorknob
ankle
cold
now my song is getting thin
i've run out of luck
time for me to retire now
and become a duck

Mind Reading Machine!

Want a magic machine that can read your mind? Simply go here, and follow the instructions on it.

Amazed? There is a secret to it. You'll have to find it! (Its in the game.)

It has something to do with the numbers.

Oh, so you do want the answer. The answer is here:

Let's say A is 5 and B is 3. The total is Ax10+B, and the sum of A+B is 8. So:
10A+B)-(A+B)=9A

And did you notice that 9A is a multiple of nine? If you look carefully in the game, all the multiples of nine have the same symbols, except 99 and 90 which are both impossible to reach. The symbols also changes everytime so that you will think that it is really mind-reading!

Rubik's Cube

What is a Rubik's Cube?

A Rubik's Cube is a toy invented by Erno Rubik.

What are algorithms?

An algorithm is a series of instructions for completing a task.

How do you notate?

You can solve the cube by turning a part of it:
F stands for Front, which is this:

And you turn it clockwise while F' means turn the front face anti-clockwise. Wherever you rotate your cube, the face facing you would always be front, and the same applies for the others:
R stands for Right, U stands for Up, D stands for Down, L stands for Left and B stands for Back. They all mean clockwise, and when you have an ', you must turn it anti-clockwise, as shown here:

If there is a '2' after any letter, you turn it 180 degrees:

What are finger tricks?

Finger tricks are tricks that you do using your fingers. It helps you solve the cube faster. Here are some tricks:

Lucid Dreaming

Have you heard of lucid dreaming?

Lucid dreaming is when you are fully aware that you are dreaming when you are dreaming. (On the other hand, lucy dreaming is when Lucy is dreaming. It is not recommended that you disturb Lucy while she is dreaming.) Once you are aware, you could do anything you want, just think of what you want to do when you are dreaming.

A lucid dream can begin in one of two ways. A dream-initiated lucid dream (DILD) starts as a normal dream, and the dreamer eventually concludes that he or she is dreaming, or a wake-initiated lucid dream (WILD) occurs when the dreamer goes from a normal waking state directly into a dream state with no apparent lapse in consciousness.

Once, I was dreaming about fleeing from something when I suddenly stopped to buy something (I don't know why) and then I gave the stallholder money and she gave me change that was more than she would give in real life. So then, I noticed that I was dreaming but at that time, I haven't heard of lucid dreaming yet, so I didn't get to control what I was dreaming.

Chon Wey introduced me to the bunnyherolabs pet. There were so many pets that i got confused. You can view Chon Wey's pet and blog by clicking on the link above.

(Oh by the way, you can make the pet fly by clicking on the "puppy treats" box and clicking on the sides of the white box. You have to do it before it returns on the screen. You can also mouse over the "more" box and take out the ball, drag it and release it. The dog MAY catch it. PLEASE on sound.)____________________________________________________________________

NOTICE: the ball keeps on bouncing for ever if the dog does not catch it so do not waste your time.

Anti-Drug Campaign

Last week, we had a lecture on drugs by the Central Narcotics Bureau.

An anti-drug bus (called DRUG BUSTERS!)came to our school canteen (its behind facing the vending machine beside the school hall entrance) on that day.

(Click the picture for a larger image.)

At recess, my friend and I, Jason, rushed to the bus as soon as possible. Thank god we got there early, or there would be a long queue waiting to go up the bus! We only were up there for about half a minute or so, so we didn't get to see or hear clearly what was inside. But, I took a brochure and a magazine that was way back from Febuary!

For those who didn't get a chance to take the magazine or brochure or even get inside the bus, I will tell you the editor's note of the magazine becuase if i write out the whole thing, this post would be way too long!

The editor's note says:

Hey there ...

Are you all excited as the new school year begins? We
certainly are as we have lined-up a whole lot of activities
just for you in the year ahead.

First up is DanceWorks! 2007. Yes! Our annual dance
competition is here again ... do catch your friends and
other young people dancing to the tune of a drug-free
lifestyle at our competition this year! And don't forget
to come on down and cheer then on!

Calling all budding writers out there, you can take part
in our essay writing competition and write a story to
tell everyone why you are never too young to fight
against drug abuse in our country.

How about taking the challenge to be our Anti-Drug
Ambassador? You sure can. Read on to find out more...

Cheers,
Editor
