Rubik's Cube

What is a Rubik's Cube?

A Rubik's Cube is a toy invented by Erno Rubik.

What are algorithms?

An algorithm is a series of instructions for completing a task.

How do you notate?

You can solve the cube by turning a part of it:
F stands for Front, which is this:

And you turn it clockwise while F' means turn the front face anti-clockwise. Wherever you rotate your cube, the face facing you would always be front, and the same applies for the others:
R stands for Right, U stands for Up, D stands for Down, L stands for Left and B stands for Back. They all mean clockwise, and when you have an ', you must turn it anti-clockwise, as shown here:

If there is a '2' after any letter, you turn it 180 degrees:
